Plans for Frank & Jack’s have been put on pause

The land and building set to house a new Mount Pleasant restaurant and event space, Frank & Jack’s, have been listed.

This image depicts a modern, green building with a sloped roof and large glass windows. The sign reads “Frank & Jack’s.” The structure features vertical siding and prominent lighting. Landscaping includes ornamental grasses and purple flowers. Two people stand near the entrance, and a car is parked nearby.

The lot is located near Abide A While Garden Boutique in Mount Pleasant.

The one-and-a-half-acre spot on Ira Road that was set to be the home of Frank & Jack’s, a new restaurant and event space, has been listed.

From the F&J Team

In a statement, the Frank & Jack’s team told CHStoday, “After thoughtful consideration, we have decided to place the opening on hold as we move in a different direction. This decision was not made lightly.”

The team said they were proud of the creativity and heart that went into the design of this project, and are taking time to reassess and find a path forward.

Don’t get too down in the dumps, there’s still hope for the concept, because the team said: “The concept remains one we believe in... We remain committed to creating meaningful, beautiful spaces and look forward to sharing what comes next when the time is right.”

In the meantime, what would you like to see take over the space on Ira Road? Let us know.

Your ideas for the space
