Book lovers and Swifties unite to welcome, Sweeter than Fiction, a new King Street bookshop

Sweeter than Fiction also sells apparel, stickers, tumblers, candles, and stationery from its King Street store.

“Dear Reader,” we may have just discovered your next obsession. Enter: Sweeter than Fiction, a bright and bubbly, pink and sparkly, Taylor Swift-themed romance bookshop.

When you step off King Street, you’re welcomed into a shop stuffed with books from floor to ceiling. Pro tip: Carve out some time to browse, because the options are plentiful. Your shopping doesn’t stop with the paperbacks — you’ll also find candles, apparel, bags, stickers, tumblers, and Swift-themed gifts.

In a fun nod to Swift, owner Callie Lamb started a series she calls midday mayhem. In Instagram posts, Lamb leaves clues and Easter eggs for followers to decode and unveil special announcements.

Sweeter than Fiction is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.
