We’ve done it again, y’all: Condé Nast Traveler readers just named our little city the most popular city in the U.S. for the ninth consecutive year.

We’re strong believers that Charleston is the best city in the world, and now we have proof to back it up: the Holy City also claimed the title of best city in the world outside of the U.K. (which got its own category).

The accolades don’t stop there. Also claiming real estate on the 2019 Reader’s Choice Awards:

✈️ Charleston International Airport ranks #7 among the top 10 airports in the U.S. – marking this CHS’ first time ever snagging a spot on the list.

🏝️ Kiawah Island was voted #2 on the list of Best Islands in the U.S.

🏖️ Among the Top 10 Resorts in the South: The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort (#6), Wild Dunes Resort (#10), and the Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina (#2).

🛎️ Listed as the top hotels in the Charleston area for 2019:
#1: French Quarter Inn
#2: HarbourView Inn
#3: Belmond Charleston Place
#4: The Spectator Hotel
#5: Wentworth Mansion
#6: The Vendue
#7: The Dewberry Charleston
#8: The Inn at Middleton Place
#9: Zero George Street
#10: The Restoration

The winners will be featured in the November edition of CN Traveler magazine. Check out the full results of the Readers’ Choice Awards online here.
