V Modern Italian to open on Meeting Street

V Modern Italian aims to “feed your senses,” from the bites to the DJ-curated soundtrack, every detail comes together for a fully immersive experience.

A marble-topped table holds an artfully plated burrata with cherry tomatoes and pesto, alongside a bowl of chips and dip, toasted bread with colorful toppings, and two cocktails — one creamy and one citrusy with a dried orange garnish. The spread sits in a cozy lounge setting with plush gray seating and warm yellow accents in the background.

From aperitivo to late-night offerings, V wants guests to stay awhile — to relax, eat, drink, and enjoy the vibes.

Spring is in the air — and soon so will the smell of focaccia tartufata, because V Modern Italian is opening on Meeting Street Thursday, April 9.

The restaurant currently has one location in Nashville and is expanding its concept to the Lowcountry. Michelin-starred Chef Stefano Ciotti is helping to craft the Charleston menu, which will offer antipasti, freshly made pastas, and wood-fired dishes.

Fun fact: The restaurant’s name is Roman numeral V, which reflects the brand’s dedication to all five senses.

V will be located in the Greystar Building, where The Select once stood.
