Mother’s Day is less than a month away on Sunday, May 10. If you’re looking for a simple way to celebrate the women who’ve shaped your life while supporting another mother in need, this initiative offers a meaningful option.

East Cooper Community Outreach serves nearly 3,000 neighbors each year — 74% of them women doing everything they can to care for their families.

From single mothers to grandmothers raising grandchildren, ECCO provides food, financial assistance, and access to medical and dental care to help families navigate difficult seasons and build long-term stability.

This year, the organization is offering a limited-edition Mother’s Day card featuring artwork by a local Lowcountry artist. The watercolor captures a quiet moment between a mother and child, reflecting the care and connection shared by many families.

Cards are $25 or four for $100, with pickup or shipping available (through May 4).
