In case you haven’t noticed, we are in the dog days of summer. One way we like to beat the heat — smoothies. To help refresh your soul during Charleston’s hot + humid temps, we’ve rounded up eight smoothie spots to add some chill to your day.

Huriyali, 401 Huger St., Charleston | Always giving fresh vibes, Huriyali serves bright and fun smoothies made with local and organic ingredients. We love the fun names of Purple Rain + Popeyes Punch.

The Daily, 652 B King St., Charleston | Stop by The Daily for a made-to-order smoothie. This local joint has tasty, healthy options like Just Peachy that will help keep you hydrated.

Atlyss Food Collective, 476 Meeting St. Ste. D, Charleston | One of Charleston’s newest spots provides smoothie options from Hustle Smoothie Bar. Enjoy its outdoor seating and a lovely, cold tasty delight like the Strawberry Banana Bliss.

Queen Street Grocery, 133 Queen St., Charleston | A stop at this local corner store is always a fun surprise. We love that its yummy smoothies are named after some Holy City streets.

Beech, 315 King St., Charleston | Stroll down to King Street and try one (or all) of its four colorful cold creations.

Brown Dog Deli, 225 Calhoun St., Charleston | While this deli might be known for its sandwiches, we’re ready to sip our lunch. The Bikini Bottom smoothie looks like a great option.

Clean Juice, 168 Calhoun St., Charleston | If you’re bananas for bananas, then you’ll love Clean Juice. The Mangoes ‘N Cream has some ingredients like mango, turmeric, and almond milk.

Playa Bowls, 429 King St., Charleston | Located in the hear of downtown, Playa Bowls offers a variety of refreshing smoothies to keep you chilled. Its fun decor gives all the summer vibes all year round.
