Charleston County Waterparks are now open for the season.

Take a dip between 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Park, Splash Zone Waterpark, and Splash Island Waterpark. All three locations will be open until mid-August for splashing around.

Feeling adventurous? Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Park is the largest of the three parks and features a 60-foot-tall slide. Yeah, you can go in front of us.

  • Located at: 8888 University Blvd., North Charleston

More our speed, Splash Zone Waterpark is a tropical oasis for relaxation. This location has a 500-foot-long lazy river and a large leisure pool.

  • Located at: 871 Riverland Dr., Charleston

Schools out and swimming is in at Splash Island, which offers fun in the sun for the whole family. This spot offers an activity pool and raindrop waterfalls.

  • Located at: 444 Needlerush Pkwy., Mt Pleasant

Each park has everything ready for you to enjoy your day including: showers, lounge chairs, concessions, lockers, and lifeguards.
If you need to brush up on your swimming before hitting one of these splash spots you can check out the West County Aquatic Center in Hollywood. The pool is operated by Charleston County Parks and offers swim lessons to beginners and advanced swimmers.

Entry prices vary per park, but there is a seasonal splash pass option. This pass allows unlimited access to the parks and added amenities.

Have a finstastic time at the parks this summer and don’t forget about our local beaches to dip your toes into.
