Last year, we covered Navy Yard Charleston’s redevelopment of two historic storehouses on the former Naval Base in North Charleston. Keep reading for an update on the mixed-use project.

Storehouse Nine, a navy storehouse built in 1918, has been converted to 78 boutique live/work units with studio and one-bedroom apartments. It is now available to lease.

In addition to these units, there are makers studios, retail space, and design showrooms on the ground floor. We heard a rooftop restaurant is slated to come later this year — we’ll cheers to that.

What’s next?

Storehouse Eight, which is adjacent to Storehouse Nine, will be reactivated in the coming months with office space, an event venue, and other retail, restaurants, and design showrooms.
