By providing essential school supplies, you can help students start the year feeling confident and prepared.

2,000. That’s how many backpacks Trident United Way is aiming to stock with school supplies during this year’s Ready, Set, Thrive School Support Drive.

On average, school supplies for an elementary school student can total $100+. When you factor in costs for uniforms, lunchboxes, school fees, and more, the total cost per student can double or even triple. This collection drive is aiming to ease that burden for local families.

How you can help: A backpack and supply bundle is less than $20, and donating online is quick + easy. The final day for the online drive is tomorrow (Friday, July 18).
