Every year, the personal injury attorneys at Joye Law Firm select a “Charitable Partner of the Year”– where, throughout that year, the team works with the organization on the initiatives where they need the most support– including a firm-wide service project.

Known as the Joye in the Community program, this year, in celebration of the firm’s 50th anniversary, they are taking it one step further. Instead of highlighting a single organization for the year, they are recognizing a charity each month. This is where they need your help.

The charities are selected by the Joye in the Community committee from nominations received by the general public. Know of an organization which deserves some love, support, + recognition? Nominate your favorite charity to be the next monthly honoree here.

The honored charitable partner will receive a $500 donation alongside a 60-second TV commercialwhich is run statewide + pushed across the firm’s social media channels.

Here are this year’s recognized charities thus far:

Jan.– Big Brothers/Big Sisters

Feb.– Reading Partners

Mar.– Brain Injury Association of South Carolina

April– Kids’ Chance

May– Harvest Hope Food Bank

June– Special Olympics South Carolina

July– Teen Angels

Aug.– Carolina Youth Development Center

Beyond their Joye in the Community initiative, the firm also gives back through the Joye Law Firm Annual Scholarship Program, and participates in fundraising initiatives that benefit the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, to name a few. Since 2016, the firm has contributed over $125,000 to local charities + organizations.
