The Music Farm announced that it will officially reopen in 2022 after being closed since the pandemic began. The 30-year-old local music venue posted about its grand re-opening on Instagram yesterday, gaining over a thousand likes and comments in no time.

People are pumped for the improved venue reopening at 32 Ann St., which will feature the following:

  • New air conditioning
  • A new sound system
  • An updated green room
  • New lighting
  • An updated bar + facilities

Local theater Charleston Music Hall and its partners will run the Farm + retain the venue’s name. Production companies Frank Productions, National Shows 2, and Live Nation will book the live shows.

The venue’s capacity has been reduced to 650 in order to ensure the comfort of concertgoers. The Royal American will run the kitchen, serving up similar menu items to the eatery’s location on the Upper Peninsula.

The goal is for Music Farm to be open 5 nights a week, feature up-and-comers + host more hip hop, electronic dance music, and metal performances. Greater diversity among performing artists is another focus for the future.

Stay tuned for show announcements coming soon.
