The Works, a sweat studio known for combining vinyasa yoga, cardio, meditation, plyometrics, sculpting, and core workouts, has been a staple in Charleston for the last few years. With its growing popularity, the studio recently expanded to a new location in Mount Pleasant. We caught up with Sarah Frick, the founder, and Carter Foxworth, the marketing director, to learn more about their latest studio, The Works Renew.

Can you tell us about your newest studio?
The Works Renew is our newest location in Mount Pleasant. It’s a concept studio offering non-heated classes in a more intimate setting. The classes are designed to help slow things down and bring balance to the fast pace of The Works Sweat Studio and The Works Cycle. This space is like a hug for your nervous system.

What types of classes and services do you offer?
We offer a variety of classes including meditation, sculpt, vinyasa, slow flow, prenatal yoga, deep stretch, yin, and yoga nidra.

Which class would you recommend for beginners?
All of our classes are accessible to all levels. Each one can be modified to meet individual needs, so beginners are welcome to join any class that resonates with them.

What advice do you have for those looking to finish the year strong with their health and wellness goals?
Keep showing up. It’s tough when life gets busy—especially towards the end of the year with holidays and social obligations. But if you plan your workouts at the start of the week and commit to them, you’ll be more likely to stay consistent. When we show up for ourselves, it becomes easier to show up for others.

Can you tell us about Social Sculpt x The Works?
We recently collaborated with Social Sculpt, a local brand, to design the perfect workout set for our studios. The set comes in three colors and is designed to help you feel empowered and confident during class. You can find it at any of our studios, online, or on Social Sculpt’s website.

Are there any exciting developments or upcoming events we can look forward to at The Works Renew?
Yes — we’re planning some events centered around our in-studio boutique, The Shoppe, as well as special workshops.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?
For October, we’re offering a special: $99 for unlimited classes at The Works Cycle and The Works Renew. You can purchase it anytime in October and use it whenever you like. It’s a fantastic deal, giving people the chance to experience both studios, which really complement each other.
