Melton Peter Demetre Park — This James Island gem is known as Sunrise Park. Get panoramic views of the Battery, Patriots Point, the Ravenel, Mt. Pleasant, and Sullivan’s Island.

Bridge to Nowhere — This unique bridge near Wagener Terrace may not offer a destination, but it does offer incredible sunset views.

South end of Sullivan’s Island — Stroll to the south end of Sullivan’s for a peaceful sunrise and the sounds of gentle waves.

Joe Riley Waterfront Park — We recommend heading here for sunrise. Watch the sun rise behind the Pineapple Fountain to the sounds of birds chirping for a tranquil morning.

Shem Creek — Look out over the beautiful Charleston Harbor and surrounding marshes as the day ends.
