Interested in giving your career in human resources a boost? UofSC recently announced a new partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest human resources organization.

UofSC now offers SHRM courses and certificates that will help prepare current (and future) human resource professionals across the state. (Read: These courses can help you improve your skills, which can help you become a more hireable candidate.)

To get started, prospective students can enroll in the SHRM Essentials Course, which will take place online from April 25-28 from 6-9 p.m. or in person on July 12, 14, 19, and 21 from 6-9 p.m. This course provides an introductory overview of key human resource topics + issues in the industry to help early-career professionals.

UofSC will also host a four-week SHRM Certificate Course that will guide mid- to late-career HR professionals as they review everything they need to know in order to pass the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam. The Certificate Course runs online on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. between June 6 and July 18 and again in the fall from Oct. 3 to Nov. 9.
