Hey Charleston, take a walk on the wild side. First Friday Artwalks with the Charleston Gallery Association are in full swing, and we’re here to paint you a picture. These self-guided art tours are free and open to the public — so come one, come all to celebrate the local art scene and add a pop of color to Friday night.

Put on your walking shoes:
🖼 Download your map or grab one from a participating gallery.
🖼️ Choose the galleries you want to visit and head out the door.
🖼️ Browse artwork + meet fellow art lovers in the Lowcountry.

You’ll discover dozens of art galleries along the way, but a few of our favorites include Grand Bohemian Art Gallery, John C. Doyle Art Gallery, and The Vendue Hotel Art Gallery. The Charleston Gallery Association represents thousands of artists, ranging from local to international.

The next Artwalk is happening on Fri., August 5 from 5-8 p.m. Heads up: This year-round, monthly event skips July + January due to the holidays.

View and download the Artwalk maps here and embark on your journey through downtown + the greater Charleston area. 👟
