Hey Charleston, Maggie – CHStoday’s digital media intern – here. It’s easy to love Charleston for its architectural charm, breathtaking views of the harbor + the many tourist attractions throughout the Lowcountry.

Locals and tourists can all agree, however, that one of the best parts about Charleston is that it’s a foodie city + a drinking town, making it a perfect place to indulge and unwind. CHS has hundreds of restaurants and bars to offer, and thousands of Food & Bev workers to offer it to you.

There are many perks that come with working in F&B – like getting to meet out-of-towners, staying up to date with the local food scene and getting to be a part of a lively community.

But, as a member of the F&B industry for the past six years (you can find me at Fuel when I’m not at the CHStoday office or at CofC), I know that sometimes it can be hard to glorify constant spills, dodging through a bustling kitchen, and the panic of trying to remember the order of a six-top when you forgot your pen.

I feel you – and 25 other businesses do, too.

Here is a list of some of the places that want to show appreciation to F&B workers by being the ones to serve you mouthwatering, discounted dishes + ice-cold drink deals for a change. Pro tip: Bookmark this list so it can be your go-to resource for finding weekly deals.

*Note: bring some form of proof of employment to each place unless a specified form is mentioned.
