Charleston Southern University recently announced that prospective students can receive $1,000 after taking an official campus tour and enrolling as a first-time freshman or transfer student for Fall 2023. Haven’t heard of CSU? The Lowcountry’s only Christian university enrolls close to 3,500 students from 43 states and 40 countries. 🌎

CSU offers 60+ undergraduate degree programs, 20 graduate programs, two doctoral programs, and 30+ online degree options. Fun fact: U.S. News & World Report recognizes Charleston Southern as a top-ranked school for online education, with its most recent rank at No. 29 Best Online Bachelor’s and No. 21 Best Online Bachelor’s for Veterans. As for sports, the school competes at the NCAA Division I level with 16 teams in the Big South Conference.

Student organizations:

Once you’re a student at CSU, you’re a Buccaneer for life. It’s easy to get plugged in on campus thanks to CSU’s 50+ student organizations, including classics like academics + campus media along with unique options to try something new (hello, CSU Surf Club). Students can also choose to get involved with campus ministries.

Campus living:

CSU offers eight residence hall options, a dining hall, a campus store, and more, with 200+ events each year. Off-campus, students have downtown Charleston at their fingertips, with no shortage of entertainment, dining, beaches, and activities to explore. Read: It’s pretty hard to be bored as a CSU Buc.
