Why is this new location special?
Because of its unique location and history. The magnificent Wentworth Mansion is unlike any other and offers neighbors and visitors alike an opportunity to escape into our boutique reserve, Woodhouse Spa, in the 200-year-old former stable building.

For someone new to spas, what treatment do you recommend starting with?
I think the best introduction is always a 50-minute body-balancing massage. I suggest customizing your experience with our extensive, well-curated enhancement menu to make it more personalized.

What’s one takeaway or feeling you hope people leave with after a trip to Woodhouse Spa?
In a world where interest in wellness is continuing to grow, we want to offer a sanctuary for your soul. We recognize that blocking out the noise and taking time for self-care and calm reflection are what our guests truly seek. Our mission is to provide “transformative experiences of well-being” and allow our guests to determine just what that means to them on any given visit.

Do you have a favorite Charleston restaurant?
I have many favorite restaurants and feel very connected to the Charleston hospitality community. We are all working so hard to keep our teams and guests supported in a city that never sleeps and in a very demanding, increasingly evolving industry. A few of my personal favorites are: High Cotton, Sorelle, Marbled & Fin, and, of course, Halls Chophouse.

What’s your favorite way to spend a day in the Lowcountry?
I fell in love with Charleston and made it my home in 2014. I am so passionate about this city, and my favorite way to spend the day is to boat to Shem Creek for lunch at Saltwater Cowboys or a fancy brunch, then have a spa day, do some shopping, and have dinner downtown. We are so incredibly blessed to live here; there is so much to do.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift, a solo self-care escape, a couple’s massage, or a relaxing start to a girls’ weekend, check out what this spa has to offer.
