What do Carnes Crossroads, Cane Bay, and Nexton all have in common? They’re relatively new inland communities not far from Charleston that are absolutely exploding with growth. Over the next few months, we’ll head to Berkeley County to explore these areas + what they have to offer. Up first is Nexton.
A mix of nature + modern developments, Nexton is a Summerville community rapidly expanding with new homes, schools, restaurants, and retail.
Location
This Master-Planned Community, nestled among tall pines, is situated just off Charleston’s I-26 corridor and connected by a network of walking and biking trails. Currently, there are four main areas where the dining and retail spots are located.
