Four Seasons, the global luxury hospitality brand with 190 hotels, resorts, and residences in 47 countries, has announced plans to open its first property in SC — right here in Charleston.

The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Charleston will be located on Meeting Street, with an eight-story new building expected to be completed in 2028.

The hotel will feature 139 guest rooms, four restaurants + bars, an outdoor pool with private cabanas, a full-service spa, a fitness center, curated retail options, and 7,000 sqft of event space. Think: weddings, celebrations, and corporate gatherings.

Elegant garden courtyard with lush landscaping, a large tree surrounded by manicured shrubs, and a wall-mounted water fountain covered in ivy. The building features tall arched windows, green shutters, and soft green awnings over ground-level windows.

The landscape architecture will be led by Hollander Design.

The project also includes 36 branded residences, with floor plans ranging from two bedrooms to five bedrooms. Many homes will feature outdoor balconies or terraces.

Homeowners will have access to in-residence dining, housekeeping, concierge services, hotel amenities, and an on-site property management team staffed by Four Seasons. Residence pricing begins at $5 million — luckily, we’ve got a few years to save up.
