The Food Network’s “Halloween Wars” is back just in time for spooky season + the show features local talent. If you love competition, baking shows, and cheering for folks from the Lowcountry, keep reading.

Sarah Arnold, Assistant Pastry Chef at the Sanctuary on Kiawah Island, is featured on the seasonal baking competition show this season. Arnold is a sugar artist on team Scream of the Crop, and she told us she loves working with chocolate and sugar whenever possible.

Fun fact: This season is an All-Stars season, meaning that for the first time in the show’s history, each team is captained by a former Halloween Wars Champion.

Get to know who you’re rooting for:

Arnold’s love for baking started when she was young, and while in high school, she participated in baking competitions. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Baking + Pastry Arts graduating Summa Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales.
