If you’re feeling festive like we are, you might be starting – or in the midst of – your holiday shopping. We’re sure there are quite a few people on your list, and you’ve got to find the perfect gift for her, for him, for the history buff, for the foodie.

But if you’re worried about parking + navigating the roads when you head downtown to shop, fear not – there’s an alternative. DASH is Charleston Downtown Area Shuttle, operated by CARTA, offering free rides for everyone across the peninsula. 🚎

All you have to do is park at the Visitor’s Center (375 Meeting St.) or at any City parking garage to hop on DASH, which can take you to shops on any of its three routes:

Rte 210 (Orange) – CofC + Aquarium
Rte 211 (Green) – Meeting + King St.
Rte 213 (Purple) – Lockwood + Calhoun St.

Note that pets and bikes are not allowed on board. More DASH FAQs here + additional info in our downtown parking guide.
