Every time we look around, it seems like something new is popping up in Charleston. Whether you’re looking for your next go-to brunch spot or a new public park to stretch your legs, we’re rounding up a few things coming soon to the Holy City.

Community

North Charleston Sports Complex, 1455 Monitor St., North Charleston | Opening spring 2024 | The new facility will have a ribbon cutting today, March 28 at 2 p.m. Beginning on Friday, March 29 the tennis courts and roller rink will be open and on Monday, April 1, the entire complex will be available to the community.

Mindzero | Mount Pleasant Towne Centre, 1748 Towne Centre Way, Ste. 102, Mount Pleasant | Opening summer 2024 | This wellness studio combines sauna, cold plunge, and breath to provide accessible + inclusive group sessions to elevate energy, focus, and well-being.

Adrenaline Monkey, 4950 Centre Pointe Dr., Ste.100, North Charleston | Opening summer 2024 | An innovative family adventure park focused on empowering guests of all ages, sizes, and abilities with adrenaline-pumping adventures.

Palmetto Billiards Academy, 2049 Savannah Hwy., Ste. 30 | Opening April 2024 | This spot will help players of all skills elevate their game and advance the sport of billiards.

Publix Nexton

Publix will be part of One Nexton.

Lowcountry Littles, Online | Opening April 2024 | The brand will offer upscale, nontoxic baby feeding products.

Publix Supermarket, 1274 Nexton Pkwy. | Opening TBA | This new location will be part of the new One Nexton area.

Harris Teeter, Nexton | Opening April 2024 | This new location for Harris Teeter is a 64,000-sqft location.

Lowes Foods, Nexton | Opening 2025 | This is the fifth location for Lowes Foods is a 50,887-sqft location.

Trader Joe’s, Mount Pleasant | Opening TBA | This will be Mount Pleasant’s second location.

Little Bird, 90 Queen St. | Opening April 2024 | A coastal-inspired shop offering handcrafted jewelry.

Marbled & Fin, 480 E. Bay St. | Opening late spring 2024 | Charleston’s first biophilic restaurant in town will be a new 5000-sqft steak house.

La Cave, King Street | Opening April 2024 | This new sipping lounge is ~1,700-sqft and will be right next door to Félix Cocktails et Cuisine.

Merci, 28 Pitt St. | Opening summer 2024 | This neighborhood bistro will offer a European-inspired menu focusing on French + Italian techniques.

By The Way, 45 1/2 Spring St. | Opening summer 2024 | This spot will be a neighborhood tavern featuring Charleston’s musicians, pub fare, and cocktails.

The Charles, 320 Broad St. | Opening 2025 | It will feature luxury townhomes and flats with views of the Ashley River and the Safe Harbor City Marina.

Nowell Creek Village, 2000 Daniel Island Dr. | Opening spring 2025 | This marsh-front community will have amenities and three and four-bedroom units with attached garages.

Kermit’s Key Lime Shop, 63 S. Market St. | Opened winter 2024 | This shop is known for its pies, chocolate-covered key lime bars, cookies, candy, jams, oils, lip balm, and sauces.

Bodega, 414 W. Coleman Blvd., Mount Pleasant | Opened winter 2024 | This Mount Pleasant location is serving up a Big Apple-inspired brunch.

Ruby’s NY Style Bagels, 280 W. Coleman Blvd., Mount Pleasant | Opened winter 2024 | Try out this new location for bagels and coffee.
