The Charlee opens in Charleston’s Cannonborough neighborhood

The Charlee is a new short-term rental property featuring eight four-bedroom residences with hotel-style amenities and is now open on Cannon Street

A three-story historic building with cream-colored walls, sage green shutters, and a dark green storefront. The lower level features large display windows and signage for various businesses, including “Oh Hey Charlee,” a restaurant space, and “Forever Wishful.” The upper levels have rows of evenly spaced windows with matching shutters. The building is framed by a blue sky and a few small trees on the sidewalk.

The Charlee is located in the heart of downtown.

The Charlee, a new set of luxury short-term rental residences, is now open for bookings. Located on Cannon Street in the Cannonborough neighborhood, the concept blends the amenities of a traditional hotel with the flexibility and comfort of a short-term rental.

The property includes eight four-bedroom residences, each accommodating up to 10 guests. The spaces were designed by Charleston-based interior designer Jenny Keenan and architect Stephen Ramos.

No two residences are exactly alike — each one has its own layout, artwork, and design touches. Guests can expect features like custom millwork, private rooftop or porch access, and hotel-style concierge services such as excursion bookings, grocery delivery, and access to bicycles.

Coming soon: A restaurant is planned for the property in the future. We’ll keep you updated as announcements are made.
