Local restaurants that are hunkering down during the hurricane

Yesterday, Governor McMaster announced that the I-26 lane reversal would take effect earlier than planned– and all eastbound lanes were diverted westbound toward Columbia at 11:30 a.m. Many residents took to the road early to get ahead of trafficand Hurricane Florence.

However, we understand that for some (such as first responders + hospital employees), evacuating is simply not an option.

While we absolutely encourage everyone who is under the mandatory evacuation to flee to safety– we want to make sure those who are staying behind are safe, well-fed, + maybe even have a little fun amidst the chaos.

Below are local restaurants + bars who have announced that they will remain open today + throughout the rest of the week– if possible... Be sure to call before you go.
