100+ new restaurants have opened in the Charleston area so far in 2019. That’s a lot of ground for any foodie to cover – no matter how big one’s wallet, or appetite, may be.

Enter: Google’s 2019 Local Favorites. The list ranks the top food + bev spots around town across three categories: Local Favorites (the top-rated spots, according to the amount of interest indicated by Google Maps users), Hidden Gems (establishments that are highly reviewed, but have fewer reviews than the Local Favorites), and Rising Stars (new + gaining popularity).
